Join me on Sunday, September 20, at 2:00 PM for a guided Fall Equinox Forest Bathing experience at Sigrist Woods Old Growth Forest.
Reduce anxiety, receive healing, and celebrate the changing seasons with like-hearted folks. Celebrate the Autumnal Equinox, the first day of autumn in the Northern hemisphere, which arrives Tuesday, September 22, at 8:04 PM.
Ancient cultures around the world still celebrate this day as a harvest celebration, a day to honor Earth’s great abundance during the long summer, and a day to prepare for the lengthening dark.
We will begin with a healing circle, learn about this ancient forest, enjoy a gentle, quiet trail walk, enjoy a poetry reading, and share our experiences before departing.
This free event is geared toward adults 18 years and older.
Part of the Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio, Sigrist Woods is easily accessible directly across from the main entrance, where you’ll park in the main parking areas. Walk directly across Alabama St., and I’ll be there to greet you.
Leave all technology, including smart watches, in the car.
Bring some water, a notebook, and a towel or garden cushion for ground seating. This small group experience is limited to 15 people. RSVP to secure your free spot below.
